Time Out says

Hotel Jalta offers a home base in the center of the action on Wenceslas Square, the heart of New Town located just a five-minute walk from Old Town Square. L’Occitane cosmetics and velvety throw pillows add small touches of luxury to the modern comforts of air-conditioning and free WIFI. Put in a request for a room facing the square to enjoy a terrace view, but beware the potential for late-night noise. One quirky contrast to the air of elegance is the nuclear fallout shelter housed in the hotel basement, converted to a Cold War Museum in 2013. Como restaurant offers an interesting a la carte menu of Mediterranean, Italian, sushi, and Czech cuisines alongside cocktails.

Time Out tip:  Check out (pun intended) the original Andy Warhol screen print of Franz Kafka in the hotel lobby.

Nearby:
Palac Lucerna: For a photo-worthy sculpture and diverse dining options
Gin & Tonic Club: For creative twists on a classic cocktail
Styl & Interier: For a hip interior design store and café combo
