Meeting friends at Letna Beer Garden always sounds like a great idea in theory – until you try to find them in the crowd of locals, travelers, and dogs packed into the long rows of tables. But really, that’s the only drawback to sitting outside on a sunny day with affordable draft beer and cider choices sold from carts along the edges. There are reasonably clean public restrooms accessible for a few coins, and a panoramic outlook over Prague that leads at least half of visitors snap a photo (or twenty) on every visit. This casual, warm-weather destination sits beside a playground and in front of the Letná Chateau, a gorgeous Neo-Renaissance restaurant and popular wedding venue.
Time Out tip: As tempting as it may be to BYOB, security guards monitor the area which is restricted to consumption of beverages bought onsite.
