Whether you love books or you’re just an occasional reader, Almeida Garrett Library has a card you won’t want to miss. The library card allows you to borrow books and DVD’s and take them home with you. Aside from that, the card also allows you to use the Internet – for children there’s a one-hour limit and adults have one hour and thirty minutes. All you have to do is comply with the loan policies and rules. Almeida Garrett library also offers regular free programmes like “Tale Hour”, workshops, puppet theatre plays or guided tours.
