Led by chef Rui Paula, this is a haute cuisine restaurant right in the middle of the Douro region. Established in 2007 in a modern building with a terrace over the water and a pier for boats, its cuisine is based on stylish reinventions of Portuguese flavours. And they have great wines, naturally. Warning: be prepared to spend some money.
