Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art

Most of its collection is not on display, but the Serralves MCA is always worth a visit. Designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, its collection has around 4000 works, mostly from the late 20th and 21st centuries. Many of them belong to the Serralves Foundation itself. There are always temporary exhibitions.
