Penguin Café

Penguin Café is open since 1987 and it’s a classic cocktail bar in Porto. On Mondays, they organize evenings of poetry readings. Sometimes they also host theatre performances and live concerts, so check their schedule on their Facebook page. They have been promoting these poetry sessions since the beginning and their continuous offer of cultural performances is much more than a plus in comparison to other bars that, besides drinking, don’t offer anything else.
