Miradouro Ignez

The Miradouro Ignez started up last year and quickly became part of the routine of many locals, thanks to the view of the river and the old town. The terrace overlooking the city is good for photosynthesis and for lazy early evenings gazing at the boats sliding by on the Douro. Among novelties here are smoothies made from seasonal fruit (we suggest the strawberry, for €4), classic cocktails and other fancier ones, various savoury snacks, including vegetarian ones, and also traditional tinned delicacies. On some weekend there are sunset parties. It’s all good.
