Songkran Muay Thai kick-off

Start your Songkran engines early at the legendary Tiger Muay Thai Gym in Chalong – a place usually reserved for sweat-drenched sparring now turning into a full-blown splash zone. Kora Beach Foam and Fire

Sunset by the sea meets full-on foam frenzy at this Bang Tao beach bash. Hosted by Kora Beach Resort, this beachfront celebration brings out the big guns – think fire shows, water warriors, a seafood buffet that flexes local flavours, traditional Thai dance and DJs to keep the beats pumping. Expect foam party antics and Insta-worthy costume photo ops, all just a flip-flop’s toss from the ocean. Amari’s Songkran celebration is the perfect fusion of chill and splash. Amazing Songkran at Marriott Nai Yang

Family-friendly meets firecracker fun at this all-day beachfront celebration at Marriott Nai Yang. The morning kicks off with a water blessing ceremony and Thai boxing (with a blindfolded twist) before rolling into carnival games, traditional dance and a generous New Year buffet. Tuk Tuk paint and splash workshop

Trade plastic pistols for paintbrushes at Project Artisan’s quirky, family-friendly Songkran session led by local artist Kru Zone. You’ll hand-paint your very own wooden tuk tuk (yours to keep), all while learning about Thai culture through a splash of art and colour. The shaded garden studio is the perfect retreat from the water mayhem. And yes, there’s still room for a few splashes too. Spaces are limited, so early RSVPs are recommended.

Songkran parade and brunch at Hyatt Regency

Hyatt Regency brings heritage to the fore with a festive parade of long drums, water blessings and cultural performances.
