South Philadelphia Older Adult Center

This “community center for vintage adults” sits along East Passyunk Avenue and hosts a range of activities for South Philly’s senior citizen set, such as sketch clubs, ceramics, movie screenings and a variety of fitness workshops. There’s also a pool in the back, which makes young passersby hella jealous in summer as they stroll past watching members splashing around in the cool water. The grounds get wider use in the spring when the East Passyunk Business Improvement District hosts its annual Easter Egg Hunt for families and little ones.
