East Passyunk Easter Egg Hunt

Celebrate Easter South Philly-style at this annual egg hunt along East Passyunk Avenue. Besides the hunts—which are staggered throughout the day to accommodate different age groups—families can enjoy decorating egg-collecting bags, free treats, photo ops with the Easter Bunny and music from Ben FM. When it comes time to hunt—11am (4 and under), noon (5–7) and 1pm (8–10)—kids can search for eggs on the lawn of the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center. The eggs will be filled with treats and special discount vouchers to use at shops and restaurants along the avenue, such as Essen Bakery, Fuel, Green Aisle Grocery and P’unk Burger. If your little one doesn’t find a golden ticket, you can still enjoy discounted fare at spots like Chaaya Cafe and Black N Brew during and after the festivities.
