Bufad Pizza

The latest from restauranteurs Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello, Bufad serves up wood-fired Neapolitan- and Roman-inspired pizzas in a rustic dining room in Philadelphia's Loft District. The menu includes traditional Italian small plates, like warm olives and burrata, a variety of salads and nearly 20 pizzas—all cooked up in an open kitchen equipped with a glowing hearth. The spot is BYO, so bring along a bottle of vino rosso to complement one of the red-sauce pizzas, such as Neapolitan and Roman versions of the classic margherita or the meaty merguez sausage, with pork and lamb sausage, fresh peas, tomato sauce and mozzarella.
