Details were announced this morning about the Eagles Super Bowl Parade, which will take place on Thursday, February 8, at 11am. Some are saying the parade could be the biggest of its kind in sports history, and attract something like six million people.
To cater to the masses, some local and national businesses have announced free giveaways they’ll be doing that day.
First off, Bud Light broke the news on Twitter mere minutes after the game that they will be handing out free beer to revelers along the parade route. According to the Tweet, they’ll be set up in 25 taverns along the parade route (which starts and Broad Street and Patterson Avenue and ends at the Philadelphia Museum of Art).

Specific giveaway locations haven’t been announced, but Bud Light later tweeted that those in search should, "Use your Eagle eyes to scout them out." That probably means keep your eyes peeled for huge signs that read something like "Free Beer Here!" or “Bud Light!”
On more of a local front: Shake Shack will be giving away free scoops of custard all day on Thursday, February 8—or until supplies last. Swing by their locations in Center City (2000 Sansom St), University City (3200 Chestnut St), King of Prussia (160 N Gulph Rd), or King of Prussia Mall (300 Mall Blvd) to try their Eagles-inspired flavor, Swoop’s Scoop, which is green vanilla frozen custard mixed with pieces of frosted chocolate cake from Termini Bros Bakery.
