Time Out says

This gorgeous old-school, 658-seat movie theater from the early 1900s still boasts a lineup of must-see flicks—mostly of the indie and classic variety—but it also serves as a live music venue for big-name musicans from around the globe. It’s biggest claim to fame, however, is its cameo in the 1958 sci-fi hit The Blob. The venue continues to celebrate that 15 seconds of fame every year during the annual Blobfest, which includes film screenings, a block party, costume contests and a live re-enactment of the moment from the film when moviegoers run in terror from the movie theater. Watch it here.
