Philly-bred, L.A.-based indie folk rockers Mt. Joy returned to the City of Brotherly Love last weekend to perform at Made in America. Their performance took place on the Skate Stage on Saturday—also known as the rainiest day of the festival.

Today, the group released a video detailing their journey back to their hometown—and we’re debuting it here on Time Out Philadelphia. The video kicks off with them performing in L.A. before packing up and hopping a plane to Philly.

“Flying home to Philly is my favorite flight, because I’m know I’m going to see so many family members and just get to be home,” says frontman Matt Quinn.

They go on to talk about how excited they were to find out they were playing on the Parkway and provide a little insight into what their lives were like when they lived in Center City. It finishes up with a clip of their rainy performance at Made in America. Check it out below or at TIDAL.com/MtJoy.
