Do opposites really attract? We set up an unlikely pair—one the consummate jokester, the other a contemplative bookworm—to find out.
The Dinner: The Little Lion

D’Ontace: “The fried green tomatoes were mmm-mmm good. The cocktails, catfish and chitchat with my date wasn’t half bad, either.”
Jeferino: “I had the Lion Burger, which was excellently seasoned, and the sweet potato fries. The best part, though, was the decor. It felt nice and cozy in all the right ways.”
The Activity: The Clay Studio

D’Ontace: “We sculpted clay bowls while I cracked jokes! Needless to say, my bowls weren’t as great as Jef’s.”
Jeferino: “We created our own bowl-like objects with an instructor. She was super friendly and an amazing teacher. The experience was perfectly fun and intimate at the same time.”
The Dessert: Shane Confectionery

D’Ontace: “We got cutesy while feeding each other delicious chocolates. The history lesson on the confectionery was definitely
a highlight for me.”
Jeferino: “I tried the rose water bonbon, which was light and delicate but also amazingly rich. This is a perfect little spot for a great date or a quick snack.”
The Verdict
D’Ontace: “We definitely had more in common than expected. I wouldn’t push for a second date just yet, but I’m down to hang or do happy hour soon.”
Heart rating: ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🖤 🖤
Jeferino: “I really enjoyed spending time with D’Ontace. He was smart, charming and hilarious. We exchanged numbers at the end, so I definitely see us going out again.”
