Set on the grounds of St Hilda's school, the Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre (PAC) is much more than your average school assembly hall. With its motorised flying system, orchestra pit and sumptuous red velvet drapes, it often stages public and community productions, performances and live concerts.
Named after a much-loved principal who contributed greatly to the arts, the PAC was built on the ground of the old school pool in 2012. The Forrest Foyer was later installed as a gift from the Forrest family, lending a real sense of occasion to each event at the PAC. Riotous, horror-tinged musical Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street has graced its stage, as has a joyous rendition of Oliver. Check out what's on online.
