Sure, you’ll find the white-coated service that puts many on their guard, but it’s carried out with old-school European ease. Service that is a real pleasure to experience is often in short supply this side of the Nullarbor, but in abundance here, and the menu shows how to engage everyone from your casino high roller to the thriftier end of the casino crowd. Dine in the restaurant, order big on the Blackmore Wagyu and explore the more than 2,000 bottle wine list. Stump up for the $50 lunch set menu, or simply go the burger route. Casting the net so wide very rarely works, but again, Perry’s outpost is the exception.
