Daniel Goodsell isn’t a name known to the general dining public but in Perth hospo circles, he’s got excellent form. Goodsell earned his stripes under the wing of mercurial placemaker Nic Tromboli at Balthazar, Il Lide and Bread in Common, but it’s with his own venue that he’s cemented that reputation. Billie H, from the impeccable playlist, to the attentive service, to the menu of chef Alia Glorie, just keeps on delivering. The wine list is a joy. Rare is a restaurant where you may find yourself matching a dish to the wine choice, rather than the other way around, but this is one such place.
