Poland-born Iwo Jakimowicz and partner Sarah Morris started Si Vintners in 2006, but it
wasn’t until 2010 that the pair settled on their Rosa Glen estate. Si Vintners relies on biodynamic farming to produce wines with minimal intervention: organic fruit, all from the estates own vines, is turned to wine with minimal sulphur additions at bottling. The wines here are free from pesticides, fungicides and chemicals thanks to the all-natural farming, and range from varietal cabernet sauvignons, chardonnay and pinot noir, to a rosé made from skin-contact sauvignon blanc blended with cabernet. Tastings are by appointment only while the team complete the planned cellar door, so make sure you get in touch in advance.
