This prehistoric park is a hoot for kids and families, with plenty of dinosaur-themed fun. There are two bronze raptor statues situated among the extensive play equipment. Mini-paleontologists will get a kick out of the sandpit, with dino bones hidden underneath, ready for children to dig and discover.
The spaces here have a big emphasis on sensory exploration and creativity – there’s a musical play area with steel bongos and a water play park with water pumps and fountains. Meanwhile bigger kids will also love the huge hammock swing – suspended from an eight metre high frame, the large disk can swing in any direction.
For family gatherings there are basic barbecue facilities, and plenty of shaded areas. There’s also duck pond with a walking track around it.
