Penang International Airport

The once quaint airport has been newly refurbished to match its name of Penang International airport. Made out of a structure of steel and glass, its expansion now welcomes double, if not treble, the amount of flights from various destinations daily. Popular chain eateries are on the departure floor while retail stores such as Victoria's Secret is within the limited access departure lounge. There are convenient bus and taxi services to ferry visitors to and from the airport. However, if you're in a hurry, splurge on a taxi ride because the bus ride into George Town takes about an hour and more during peak hours.
