Tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, Pantai Kerachut is among the six beaches in the Penang National Park. The relatively untouched beach is mostly frequent by locals and famously known for its meromictic lake and turtle sanctuary. There are two ways to get to the beach: hop on the ferry (at the entrance of the Penang National Park) or go for a short hike (the trekking trail starts from the park's entrance). Some hotels along Batu Ferringhi also provides boat services to Pantai Kerachut including Shangri-La Golden Sands Resort and Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa.
