The Second Penang Bridge, also known as Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim, is an important link connecting Batu Kawan on the mainland of Seberang Perai and Batu Maung on the Penang Island. Sporting a resemblance to the original design of Penang Bridge, the length is said to stretch to 24km and was named the longest bridge in Malaysia and Southeast Asia upon its opening in March 2014.
