Perched at the foot of Penang Hill, this holy temple house thousands of bats seeking refuge in the day (they hunt for food at nightfall). Apart from the bat sightings, visitors will get to see a granite statue of God of Prosperity (Tua Peh Kong) at its entrance. The best time to pay a visit is during the second day of the second month in the Chinese calendar as the day marks the birthday of Tua Peh Kong.
