Penang Aquarium

This aquarium has braved the test of time with various restoration stages in the past. Today, the Penang Aquarium has re-opens its doors to the public and boasts 25 new fish tanks that are homes to many marine species imaginable. If it’s not the moray eel or snappers you see swimming about, you’ll spot green turtles and sea anemones waving in the waters. The aquarium is housed within the Fisheries Research Institute, a short drive from the Penang International Airport.
