Time Out says

This beautiful art nouveau theatre, with bas-reliefs by Bourdelle, hosted the scandalous première of Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps in 1913. Michel Franck took over as director in 2010. It remains the favourite venue for visiting foreign orchestras, and the prestigious line-up of visiting maestros includes Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti and Christian Thielemann, as well as Covent Garden's musical director Antonio Pappano. Staged performances include a new production of Mozart's opera Idomeneo, as well as Verdi's Il Trovatore and Handel's Ariodante
