In Paris, the number of pop-up food vans increases by the day. The latest is Un Igloo Dans la Ville, which has pitched right outside the
Mk2 Quai de Loire cinema and restaurant, meaning film fans can cool off with a specially made frozen yoghurt before or after a showing.
Like many other frozen yoghurt outlets, you can either opt for the yoghurt as it is or customise it with toppings. The latter may be best if you’re indecisive, as the list of toppings is quite something (think M&M’s, Oreos, fresh fruit, muesli, a dozen different types of coulis). Customers pay according to the size of cup (€4-€8) and all toppings are unlimited. Should you go a little over the top on the Oreos, take comfort in the fact that all yoghurt here is gluten-free and zero per cent fat.
The server can be a little cold (perhaps all that yoghurt has got to his head), but the dedicated terrace overlooking the canal is still a pleasant place to lap it all up.
