If it’s good enough for Paris Hilton (who reportedly shops here), it’s good enough for you – at least window shopping wise, which is par for the course in the Triangle d’Or (the ‘golden triangle’ of streets made up by the Champs Elysées, avenue Montaigne and avenue George V), where luxury fashion labels congregate behind grandiose entrances, leaving you dragging your bottom lip past gorgeous but unaffordable window displays. Good job the French have an expression for that – lêche-vitrine – or ‘window licking’, ‘cause that’s what you’ll be doing a lot of in Montaigne Market. It’s Paris first multi-brand designer boutique with over sixty international designers offering enticing prêt-à-porter. But even if you can’t afford that Lanvin party dress at 1500€, you can still assess what’s hot in the land of cosmopolitan style, before making a beeline for H&M on the nearby Champs Elysées.
