Monster Melodies is an Ali Baba’s cavern of music, covering genres from jazz and rock, to heavy metal, soul, chanson française and electro. The owners are very willing to help you hunt down your treasured tracks – and with more than 10,000 second-hand CDs and records piled high on the floor, shelves and any other free surface, that's just as well. Monster’s speciality is rare editions, so if you’re looking for an early Beatles LP, ‘Odessey and Oracle’ by the Zombies or ‘Tago Mago’ by Can (United Artists), this should be your first port of call in Paris.
