Monsieur

Monsieur is actually a woman, Nadia Azoug, who concocts striking, unisex, Art Déco-inspired gold and silver bands and chains in a miniscule boutique on rue Charlot. Each piece is unique, inspired by whatever goes through Nadia’s mind at the time, and none of them break the bank, with simple pieces starting at around 80 euros. A silver chain might end up pummelled or blackened, or a diamond might be set purposely off-skew, lending an organic feel to the design. But the result is always enticing and the pieces so delicate, you could easily wear several at a time to create the effect you want.  Particularly pretty is the Olympe bracelet – a set of Roman inspired gold bangles set with a single diamond.
