Time Out says

On the quiet Rue Desnouettes in the 15th arrondissement, a pretty blue storefront invites you into a world of colour and great design. Opened in January 2016, Le Monde en Seine is a mecca for design enthusiasts, offering a lovely and affordable collection of original items, all made in France. The owner Florent is immediately warm and welcoming, quick to offer suggestions based on your budget.

And you’ll definitely need his help because the store is packed with weird and wonderful finds, from a pink porcelain tea pot with a bamboo handle (€31) to a screwdriver hidden inside the body of a polar bear. Florent and his wife update the selection regularly, keeping an eye out for extra quirky items and ensuring that you’ll find something new every week. The store’s mascots, two (real!) rabbits, add an extra dose of charm to the experience.
