Ishoes is a glorious rummage in the streetwear styles of the ’60s through to the ’90s – a whole shop dedicated to vintage trainers in the heart of the hipster Marais. With both retro re-releases and original models of big names on offer, you might turn up Nike pumps straight out of the 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air', multicoloured basketball-style shoes that could have been worn by Punky Brewster, Vans classics straight out of 'Saved By The Bell' or the Reeboks from 'Flashdance'. You can even find the 1964 Stan Smith Adidas and their little sibling, the Gazelle, launched in 1968. Sizes range from from 36 to 46, for both sexes, with brands (Nike Air Force, Internationalist, Blazer) to make the experts weep. Of course, the prices have kept pace with fashion, so don't expect to get away with less than €60-€180. Try not to look at the collection for babies – no, you can't fit your feet in them, Cinderella.
