You wouldn’t usually look for light relief on the rather bleak Avenue Jean Jaurès, but number 92 makes a very good go of it. Selling bright, cute gifts for children and adults since 2011, Caprices et Comédies is run by local mother of three Solène. With experience in theatre and publishing, Solène has created a fun little world of her own with a large and mutable stock, where a rummage might turn up beach buckets and spades, Bakker notebooks, fruit-shaped lamps, jewellery, miniature plastic animal figurines and party clothing for kids. Solène regularly themes her selection, so every visit will turn up something new.
