Just a block up from the Robespierre metro station stands BobidaVintage: a Scandinavian furniture emporium devoted to – as the name suggests – all things vintage. Owner Véronique first founded BobidaVintage as a web store in November 2014, before deciding to open a proper branch at Montreuil, where the store has fast become a point of reference for locals and Parisians alike.
Freshly renovated, the space makes a real impression: everything looks precious and expensive. And indeed, design enthusiasts will marvel first at the quality of the goods (sofas, armoires, lamps, mirrors and chairs) and then at the eminently affordable prices. You can expect to pay around €690 for a 1950s Scandinavian sideboard, €340 for a Danish coffee table or €25 for House of Doctor storage baskets. And for those out to do some lighter shopping, the store also sells small novelty items, like retro telephones and fish bowls.
