Conceived by Bertrand and Alice Balibert in May 2013, this prettily done out delicatessen stocks produce from small producers and local artisans from all over France. The talent-spotting owners have travelled all over the country – surveying farmers’ markets in Burgundy, the Aveyron and Normandy – in order to dig up the best in wine, jam, olive oil and terrines. The shelves overflow with mouth-watering discoveries, like fruity mustard from Christian Léonard (€8.50), Agnès Bignot’s organic wild garlic pesto (€9.50) and duck sausage from the Aveyron (€8). The Baliberts also offer a lunchtime sandwich menu (€5-€6.20) filled in situ with the charcuterie, jam, confits or cheese currently in stock.
