Time Out says

For a shot of gorgeous 1950s Scandi style, look no further than Allt, which stocks genuine vintage pieces. Allt boats two showrooms, filled with unique chairs, tables, rugs, lamps and shelves. The pieces hosted there for as long as it takes fans of teak, tapered legs, colourful carpets and quirky candlesticks to snap them up  which isn't very long at all. The Swedish owner Charlotte Tassin hunts pieces out back home and sends them to Paris-based Didier Maréchal, who places them simply in the space; the clientele are knowledgeable connoisseurs in search of that perfect item, rather than the type to haunt concept stores.

The clean lines of this style and period (from the ’50s to the ’80s) are much imitated by contemporary websites, but Allt focuses on the individual character of their objects. You can sometimes find classic names attached to the pieces, but here it’s more about building a look than showing off. You can also find accessories in the same style by top drawer contemporary designers, like soft, stylish pure wool blankets by Klippan. None of this comes cheap, of course, as these antiques are extremely fashionable: for an armchair or a table, expect to pay from €300-€700, while large mirrors are around €100-€300. If you just want a touch of the style, bowls and other flatware start at around €5. The stock is replenished monthly so serious buyers will want to sign up to the Allt newsletter for the latest news.
