If you’ve ever gazed longingly at the haute couture catwalks, dreaming of a tailored piece of your own, then 29 Février – referencing perhaps the most mystical date in the annual calendar – is definitely worth a look-in. This concept store offers bespoke pieces of all types, allowing customers to put together whole outfits in one place. Though the stock takes in wonders like dresses from Sangbarani, Alix de la Forest shoes and accessories from Dormeuses de Madapolam, the real fun naturally comes in designing your own pieces.
If thinking about new footwear, for example, customers can choose from various shapes, fabrics and 150 colours, as well as the height of the heel, with similar processes for dress and jewelled head pieces (all usually ready within six weeks). Of course none of this comes cheap (think €240-€330 for shoes, €165 for dresses, €79-160 for head pieces), but considering they’re all custom-made, it’s a reasonable price to pay.
