Smoke bistro lies down an unremarkable street near Montparnasse. It boasts a jazzy ambiance, friendly staff, a pleasant terrace and cheap cuisine. The menu features steak, roast chicken and seafood meals, prices varying from €7.50 for a prawn salad to €18 for a large prime rib with sautéed potatoes and green beans. Prices are exceptionally low for the area and the food, though unremarkable, is pleasing and filling. The drinks, on the other hand, are quite pricey: a half pint of wheat beer will set you back €3.80 and a glass of wine €4.50.
