For who? If Italian cuisine is your thing
What to order? the pizzzza, ovviamente
Since it claims to be 'The italian of the 2nd arrondissement' Pratolina immediately sets the bar and our expectations couldnt be higher. Very quickly we realise that this italian has all the means to achieve its ambitions. Its spacious, stylishly decorated and gives off a relaxed vibe - the waiters are friendly and it can be an intimate spot for a date or supper with a few mates.
In terms of the menu, you've got Puglian burrata, veal milanesa and the obvious choices of pizza. The diavola's spicy sausage and creamy mozarella is a dreamy combination, and other classics such as the Regina and Margherita are also very good indeed. In fact so good that you should treasure every last mouthful. Their expansive wine collection has Tuscan, Piémont and Sardaigne rosso and blanco with bottles costing inbetween € 25-110. For pudding, the delicious red fruit pannacotta or tiramisu goes down a treat.
Having only openend in march this year, the italian certainly makes a bold bid to be as it so claims 'The italian of the 2nd.'
