Pan Cooker is nothing if not a smart move by the Pan Piper concert space, adding an attractive food offering to their new event space near the Philippe Auguste metro. It's ideal for making more of a buzz in a neighbourhood where new media and communications agencies are busy installing themselves en masse. Pan Cooker has quickly been adopted by these agencies' staff as a chic lunchtime canteen (it’s closed in the evenings), with its healthy, slick, affordable cooking. There’s at least one new dish on the menu every day, covering fish and meat options with vegetables and rice, plus there’s a range of salads and tarts than make up platters priced at just €11 for a generous lunch. The set menus are €13 for two courses or €17 for starter, main and dessert. Another plus: regular two-hour cooking workshops, where you’ll learn how to make real Italian pasta or authentic sushi, and can take the dishes home afterwards.
