Time Out says

The 100<br />best bars in Paris

This is one of Time Out's 100 best bars in Paris. Click here to see the full list.

At first glance, Les Fines Gueules might seem like an ordinary corner café, but a closer look at the menu reveals unusual attention to ingredients at this mini wine bar/bistro. Even if you've never heard of Hugo (Desnoyer, star butcher and supplier to some of the city's finest restaurants) or Jean-Luc (Poujauran, a celebrity Paris baker), you can taste the difference when the pedigree steak tartare arrives with a salad of baby leaves dressed in truffle oil. There are just a few seats around the bar, but upstairs is a buzzy dining room that attracts a mix of smoochy couples and business suits. A good selection of 'natural' and organic wines comes by the glass and the bottle.
