A sleek alternative to the fast food chains that pervade the French capitol, Clyde serves burgers, hot dogs, chicken balls, cheddar fries and homemade mac n’ cheese in an elegant, monochrome setting. Opened on rue Vivienne, this clubby, 1920’s-style restaurant is furnished with tufted leather sofas, banquettes and a lunch counter, leaving diners ample choice of seating. Food can also be ordered to go. The dessert menu includes an array of American classics: cheesecake, key lime pie, pecan pie, as well as Nutella-stuffed muffins. The restaurant’s grocery stocks a large selection of American products, most notably those favourite snacks, condiments and candies that aren't available in French supermarkets. As an added incentive, Clyde offers an American-style brunch on Sundays.
