When? September 24 2016
What? House, techno, dubstep, hardcore and drum ‘n’ bass on the streets of Paris.
Where? Throughout the city
For 18 years now, Techno Parade has been flying the flag for French dance music in the form of its annual city-wide rave. Every autumn, close to 300,000 Parisians join the procession of DJ booths as it inches its way through the streets of the Right Bank. Usually, the parade – a dozen or so floats – leaves Port-Royal at noon and threads its way over to République, before coming to rest at Bastille at 7pm. A slew of other afters (and morning-afters, and follow-ups the next night) are also held across the city.
