Cult sensations on France's underground hip-hop scene, rap four-piece La Rumeur continue to build a reputation on the genre's fringes. While all of their albums date from the last decade, their style takes after the poetic, politically engaged rap that ruled the radio waves in the '90s. Their sound may have matured over the years, but Ekoué and Hamé continue to turn heads with their uncompromising lyrics, not to mention their recent foray into rock. Their last album 'Tout brûle déjà' was a career high, and the group are reportedly preparing new material to mark their 15th anniversary. Hopefully we'll get to hear a preview at their forthcoming concert at Le Trabendo.
