Elysée Montmartre

It was a very sad day for many when a fire destroyed the legendary Elysée-Montmartre music hall back in 2011. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the venue opens its doors to the public once again from September 15 2016, after five long years of silence (and a fair few judicial spanners in the works). Completely gutted in the fire, the building has undergone an extensive revamp and now boasts a beautiful new staircase, which thankfully looks far safer than the old rickety one, and an imposing raised bar. Fortunately the soul of the place still remains, with the same layout, warm ambiance and excitingly eclectic music programme of old.
