Bakers and pastry chefs, sisters Elsa and Emmanuelle Condet run this bread-baking workshop for children ages six and up. The one-and-a-half-hour class is held in a colourful, purpose-built studio and kitchen, where kids learn about different kinds of grains and flours, and about varieties of brioche and pizza doughs, before getting up to their elbows in pastry dust. Children leave with a recipe and the loaf of bread they’ve baked. Founders of Cake le traiteur, a caterer for children’s parties, the Condet sisters can also organise private workshops to teach cheeky children, as they call them, how to make shortbreads, macarons, and sweet and savoury scones.
