One of the few schools in Paris that organise cooking classes taught in English, Cook’n with Class is known among visitors to the city for its many adult courses on bread making, cheese and wine pairing, cake decorating and even how to handle foie gras. At the children’s workshop, seven- to 12-year-olds learn how to make classic French sweets such as chocolate fondants, jammy shortbread biscuits and a chocolate mousse. Private classes are also available – and can be taught in Spanish, French, Italian and Chinese (with a translator) – so you could make it a family affair.
