Just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower, between Passy and the Bir-Hakeim bridge, Hotel Sezz offers a wholly Parisian universe. The lobby sets the tone: grey stone walls, pepped up with vibrant, contemporary furnishings. The reception is far from conventional here: Shahé, the founder, imagined a personal assisant-style service, palace style. The customer is pampered with tailormade services from start to finish.
Designed by the renowned Christophe Pillet, the hotel’s 26 rooms boast refined décor, with space being the key element. The bathrooms are a vision of grey stone and giant bathtubs (perfect for prolonged soaking). Although the bathrooms open onto the rooms, so perhaps not ideal for the prudish ones.
It should get a big thumbs-up from the smokers: lighting up is permitted in 18 of the rooms. However non-smokers, don’t let that put you off, the floors are separated so there’s no chance of nasty smells escaping. For a dose of relaxation, the Payot spa offers the full package: a sublime heated pool and 24-hour access to the hammam and jacuzzi. Pure luxe.
