Time Out says

Located just off the grand avenues in the beautiful streets of the Triangle d’Or near the Arc de Triomphe, Le Marfil is a sophisticated restaurant that marries fine jazz with fine food. White linen napkins, leather chairs and neutral colours come together in a hushed ambiance reminiscent of a hotel restaurant. The ‘semi-gourmet’ menu reveals a mesmerising array of quality ingredients, like shrimp with a berry coulis and roast spiced duck with figs. Fish is the house speciality and is served whole and plain, with only a hint of fennel and olive oil. This symphony of flavours is enjoyed in perfect harmony with easy listening jazz, as the musicians offer up standards throughout the two evening sittings. You’ll pay enough for the pleasure: three courses à la carte will cost you about €65, while the €38 ‘Easy’ menu will suit more modest budgets. Clever diners will seek out the discounts available online in advance.
