This kind of neighbourhood watering hole is well ingrained in our address books at Time Out. Everything about it is geared up for your drinking pleasure: a great big heated terrace in the winter, a competitive happy hour from 4pm to 10pm (€3.50 pints of Pelforth, a pint of more than decent mojito for €6 and €4.50 cocktails), it’s open from 7am to 2am and the adorable service makes it the best bar in the area.
Bistrot fare – served from midday to the evening – (€10 salads, €12 steak tartare) is not much to write home about but the mixed platter of cantal and saucisson sec (€7) for example, is the perfect way to start off a night.
